For quite a longtime,i have experienced and had issues with transferring any of the files sent to me from whatsapp. Well, nowadays everything works online and ever since whatsapp introduced sending of different files such as .apk,.doc,.xls and pdf, most whatsapp users experience a problem of transferring these files to the computer, and most especially when this has occured when you cant find a USB cable.
- Working internet on both the Computer & Phone installed with whatsapp
- Android phone with back camera
So lets get on the solution now.
On January 21, 2015,whatsapp dropped a massive hint on how users were able to use WhatsApp on their web browser. This was promised to be an extension of the phone: so which meant the web browser would mirrorconversations and messages from the mobile device — this meant all of the messages would still be live on your phone.
Well,This evolutionalised means on how one can share files between the mobile phone and the computer.
How to connect your web browser with the phone and share files
To connect your web browser to your WhatsApp client, simply open https://web.whatsapp.com in your Google Chrome browser or mozilla firefox. You will see a QR code — scan the code inside of WhatsApp,
After this open whatsapp on your phone
Tap menu: or settings and select whatsapp web
Scan the QR Code on the web browser with the phone camera, and after this you will view your whatsapp on the web browser.
You have now paired WhatsApp on your phone with the WhatsApp web client.
Your phone needs to stay connected to the internet for our web client to work, and please make sure to install the latest version of WhatsApp on your phone.
